Nasty Habit IPA

BREWERY:
Mt. Begbie Brewing Company

LOCATION:
Revelstoke, British Columbia

STYLE:
Strong IPA

COLOR:
Deep Copper

ALCOHOL:
6%

First of all I just want to say that this beer was the Gold Medal Winner at the 2010 Canadian Brewing Awards.  They call this a strong beer but being at 6%, it's pretty mellow.  I've had lots of 7%-9% IPA's which I've poured out.  When you first open this beer, you get a subtle floral aroma.  Keep that in mind because the finish tastes the same way.  You can taste a hint of spiciness which gives the finish a little bit of a kick.  A lot people love Pale Ales but shy away from India Pale Ales.  However, if you want to enjoy a really good mellow IPA, but don't want the strong bite, try this one.
